Launch-FV

LaunchFV is part of the LaunchMyCity family of programs, modeled after LaunchDETROIT and LaunchRALEIGH.  It strives to develop successful local entrepreneurs by expanding access to comprehensive business training, financial resources, and critical business specialists. 

In Fuquay-Varina, the program is open to 12 local residents with fledgling business or business ideas every year, running from August to November. The 12 participants meet weekly and learn about writing business plans, marketing, business process, and bringing a business idea to life. Local business owners volunteer as mentors and the program culminates in a 52-hour "launch event" over one weekend, in which the participants present their ideas to a panel of local leaders in business and government.

This program is co-sponsored and supported by both Fuquay-Varina Rotary Clubs, Wake Technical Community College, and the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce.
