Kitchen Kits for Rotary Peace Fellows

Every July, our club collects items to fill tubs with kitchen items for the 10-12 internaional students who attend the Peace & Conflict Resolution graduate program at the only Rotary Peace Center in the United States - conveniently located in Durham as a joint program of both Duke and UNC. These students come to the United States with just some personal belongings and need to secure housing and settle in before classes start.

Our club secures the items needed to fully stock a kitchen, such as plates, silverware, glasses. cookware, towels, utensils/food prep knives, cutting boards, pot holders, and more. We then pack those items into tubs that are delivered to Durham for distribution to each incoming Peace Fellow. it's a great welcome gift!
